RC expressed his intention to confer with the Mayor Cllr Marv Emett-Lewis about the content of their speeches in France. It was reported that Alana Davies will not be going.

It seems that Neil Sumner will be away from 7th July until 7th September. He does not want to do the Newsletter. An item is to be put in the next issue thanking him for his work on the newsletter over past years.

No progress has been made on producing posters or a website about PSSTTA but MH demonstrated what he has put on Face book. CD commented that the information about Porthcawl Town Twinning on the BCBC "Cobwebs'" site is years out of date. It was suggested that Cllr Wendy Ingram might be able to get it updated MH gave cheques to CD and RC for expenses they had incurred

Bastille Day Celebratio ns. Members of Pencoed and Bridgend Twinning groups have been invited to join us. RC has obtained historical information from the Internet.

It was confirmed that Janet Anderson has a key and the hall would be available from 6.30 or if possible 6pm.

David Anderson has prepared a 20 minute show of slides of early exchange visits and will bring his own equipment.

DB will hold a quiz and some fund raising activities. Margaret Bush will organize the raffle.

CD asked the committee members to each prepare key facts about famous French people for a game of "Who do you think I am?" and RC suggested the possibility of charades.

MH, DB and RC said they would bring suitable music and maybe some might like to do the Can-can. RC said he would donate bunting and a vinyl table covering.

Trip to Saint Se bastien. Megan and David Anderson will both have birthdays while there. We could do with four more paying adults to cover the cost. The coach will be leaving at 2am for the 7.30 ferry. There will be a meeting between the two Committees on the Friday afternoon. The intention was expressed that the next visit to Porthcawl should not take place at Easter, one of the reasons being that it is a time when family relatives come to stay.

Meeting closed at 11.45 am.
